Only ski/snowboard equipment will be considered for sale. The SRSP reserves the right to reject for sale any merchandise which, in its sole discretion, is unfit, not in good condition, or is of a design which is not currently acceptable or does not meet manufacturer’s current published standards.
Charges: There is a $2.00 per person charge for placing items on sale with us. This allows you to register up to four (4) items. Additional items will be charged at $0.50 each. If the item is not sold you simply take it back (the registration fee is non refundable). If the item sells 15% commission is deducted from the selling price. The minimum commission is $1.00 per item sold.
Pick-Up of Unsold Merchandise: All merchandise is accepted on consignment only. Unsold merchandise must be picked up from the location of the Ski Sale no later than 9:00 p.m. on Sunday. YOU AGREE THAT ALL OF YOUR UNSOLD MERCHANDISE WHICH YOU HAVE NOT PICKED UP BY 9:00 P.M. ON SUNDAY AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE SKI SALE WILL BE CONSIDERED A DONATION TO THE SRSP AND CAN BE DISPOSED OF AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE SRSP.
If you wish to pick up your unsold merchandise on the last day of the Ski Sale, your receipt(s) will allow you free admission to the show after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Payment for Sold Merchandise: Checks will be mailed approximately 4 weeks after the close of the sale for merchandise sold. You may call the phone number on this contract during sale hours only to inquire if your merchandise has been sold. (We suggest that you don’t call until Saturday afternoon.)
Prices may not be changed on tags. Altered tags will result in the merchandise being removed from the sale. This is for your protection as well as ours. Price changes require re-registration and payment of appropriate fees.
Beyond the exercise of reasonable care, the SRSP does not assume any responsibility or liability for the loss or damage of your merchandise from any cause whatsoever including but not limited to theft, fire, flood, civil disorder or acts of nature. The SRSP is a not-for-profit, volunteer public service organization and does not purchase or acquire loss insurance.
